Blessings Blessings Everywhere!

So sorry it's been so long since my last update!  Our new son is so special and seeing the Lord work has been unbelievable!

When I found out I was pregnant my husband and I didn't know how we were going to make it but we tried from that point to give it all over to the Lord.... I told everyone "it's bigger than us and we can't do anything so Lord please take care of things".

My pregnancy was filled with ups and downs.... health problems, being taken off work for strict rest...being hospitalized for excess bleeding....and then our son coming a month early....to us, just not knowing how we were going to feed, cloth or provide for this child or provide for ourselves. My job was our main income but we were still just making it from pay check to pay check...WELL can I just tell you the LORD has been there all the way and continues to answers our prayers.  1 week before our son was born I still had all the worries (trying not to).  Our church had us a shower and we ended up with 375 dollars (gift card) and we were able to get some of the things I knew we needed. Then the people I work with took up donations and my boss matched what they took up.  We ended up with another 350 dollars!!!  I was amazed we had nothing and no way to get anything this child needed and then BOOM we've got over 700 dollars.  Our church family provided meals while I was on "rest"...gosh I don't think I could start to tell you how many blessing we've been blessed with.

After all the health problem...my being 36, over weight and diabetic, my blood pressure trying its hardest to go through the roof our son was born a month early but both of us are healthy....He was only 4lb 15oz but was healthy no oxygen or anything.  Everything with me is great.  I'm telling you all this because I need you all to know that we had nothing except our faith (not that it not enough) but we had to believe the the Lord was in control... He was and still is!  He has done more for us than I could even start to tell you.

Thank you Jesus, I praise you Lord!

Tuesday, January 31st BABY's COMING!!

My c-section

is scheduled for

12 noon 1/31/06.

Well I got a call yesterday afternoon from the doctor he wants to go ahead and deliver the baby at 36 weeks because of all the health problems and they just want the baby to be ok.  The baby is fine but the chances of something going wrong is getting higher.  I know that we are in God's hands and he will take care of us...this baby is 3 weeks past were our son was born so I know that when God is in control nothing but good can come from it.

I ask that you all continue to pray and Thank you Lord for everything!

Won't be back on for a while.....might try and update Monday evening after my doctor appointment but if not  THANKS and GRADITUDE to all of you!

HEY YA'LL

Well things seem to be going well,  had another non-stress test yesterday and the baby seems to be handling the lack of fluid ok, THANK YOU JESUS! I'm 35 weeks today and they want me to get to 38 weeks so just 3 more weeks to go!  We still have NO idea what the sex of the baby is they have tried everything.  Truthfully I don't care just want a healthy child....please continue to pray!

They said the baby weighed almost 6 pounds...our son was 3lb 14oz and dropped down to 3lb so were thinking this is a monster baby!  LOL

Starting to get some gifts it really makes it real when your getting all this stuff that your having to make room for...still missing a few thing that I will need but I've left it in the Lord hand to supply what we NEED and I know He will.

Just giving an update...keep the prayers coming I've been taken off work and there are lots of things that we are just having to have faith that the Lord is in control of.  No better place to be then in His hands!

Prayers do work!

Hey guys, I hope everything is well with you all!

Well I had to spend a few days in the hospital ....can I just tell you that it was NO FUN!  LOL!  Home for a few days of bed rest and then back to the doc on Wednesday for another ultrasound and to see the doc to see of I can go back to work for a little while.

The other night I started to bleed and went to the hospital and to make a long story shorter...on the way I was praying that we are in your hands Jesus.. I'm not going to worry.....I got there and they were doing the ultra sound to check the baby and they just kept saying things that were not all that great and pretty much planning on me having to have to do a c-section that night but we all just kept praying by the time they were done with the scan everything looked good and we were just going to wait and see.  I siad Thanks you Jesus and the doctor said Amen!  It was nice to have a doctor that believes!
